Brisbane Alt-Rockers Patient Lounge released their immersive new single Treehouse, a multi-layered, complex in its construction, varied and dramatic track that showcases the remarkable diversity that is characteristic of its composers.
Introducing itself with a very chill and melodic vibe, the track builds up to an anthemic voyage with vocals soaring through the gravity-free field whilst the guitars fire angled and precise shots through the spacious canvas. The beauty of Treehouse is the atmospheric storytelling immersing the listener in momentary reminiscence of the golden days painting a mesmerizing image, even though in this form it is purely aural. With a music video to follow very soon, the vibrance in this song warrants multiple listens.
Vocalist & Guitarist Zach Eather speaks on the new single “Treehouse was one of the first songs we wrote together. Though the lyrics have evolved over time, it creates a genuine sense of nostalgia. It takes us back to when we were playing in school rehearsal rooms and felt like we could achieve anything. There was a lot less darkness back then.”
No strangers to the Australian music scene, their debut singles All You Want and New Man rooted Patient Lounge as one of the finest alt-rock acts on the East Coast and saw them play alongside COG, Haken (UK), Wolfmother and festivals such as Dead of Winter, Bigsound, The Other Festival and many more! Patient Lounge now return with a highly anticipated follow-up Treehouse that is sure to take them new heights.
