Jacob Fitzgerald just released his bright, indie-pop / rock track, Pretty Good For My Mind on August 25. The Melbourne-based artist is now pairing the effervescent track with a hilarious rom-com-esque music video.

Exuding Fitzgerald‘s charismatic, cheeky and radiant energy, the music video – directed by Cameron Mitchell and produced by Onehouse Story Company– is an ode to his parent’s origin story, detailing the night they met.

Directed like a mini romantic-comedy it follows Fitzgerald’s parents and the story of their dancefloor meet-cute, with a comedic montage of their lives together from that moment forward.

Moving through romantic comedy tropes to the blooper reel finish, this music video is bright, brilliant and hilarious, and has Jacob Fitzgerald’s fingerprints all over it.

Pretty Good For My Mind and its rom-com-esque music video accompaniment are out now
