Brisbane’s THE GENERATES Let Go With New Single + Video ‘George’s Song’

Hot on the heels of their recent single Self Assured back in June, Brisbane garage rockers The Generates have dropped their next release George’s Song single & video on August 27 with some South East Queensland shows to celebrate.

Tune in HERE

George’s Song is about letting go of something that was really hard at the time but seems right in retrospect. It’s about not having hard feelings and wishing everyone the best, a goodbye song in that sense…

The Generates (pronounced similar to ‘degenerate’) have been cutting their teeth on the South East Queensland scene since 2018 as teenagers, crafting an original rock sound which nods to The Strokes, The Growlers & The Rolling Stones.

George’s Song is the 2nd taste from their forthcoming debut album.

Saturday 28 August – BRISBANE: Greaser

Friday 10 September – TOOWOOMBA: The Met Hotel
