MoonDoll Music Festival is out of hibernation for 2021 and this time the festival is bigger and better than ever!
Last year’s festival was sadly cancelled due to Covid but this year the festival is making a strong comeback as it expands across two stages featuring 28 bands, market stalls and a special MoonDoll menu at the Mansfield Tavern on July 10, 2021.
The festival promoter, Shannon-Lee AKA The Colourful Writer has put her heart and soul into this one: “I wanted to bring Brisbane a live music festival experience that showcases not only the amazing talent we have in our own backyard, but also to feature a few really special bands from elsewhere that I have come across in my time of working in the music industry. Bands who really know how to rock a stage and bands who deserve to be seen and heard, with a hearty mix of all the genres I love…”
This year the headliners include New Zealand industrial bass metal masters, Kaosis who have wowed Brisbane crowds in the past at Dead of Winter festival and Psycho Circus. Melbourne metal warriors, Frankenbok. Golden Robot Records – dirty rockin’ sleaze punks, The Mercy Kills also from Melbourne. NSW, rock, roots, blues duo, Salt & Steel. Along with an insane amount of talent from the rest of the bill: From Crisis To Collapse, PistonFist, The Wrath, DisKust, The Billie Page Rebellion, Darling Vicious (SYD), THE AUTOMATON, Odius, Baltimore Gun Club, Jordan Merrick, The Crypt Daddies, EAT CITY., Muules, Mitch, Please, Distorted Views, Slurpee Jerks, Plant Based Disgrace, Malina Claire, The Wretched Creatures, Lunchtime, Violet, The Scam, Freakshow Nightmare, The New Calm.
