JARRYD JAMES Shares Acoustic Video of ‘Miracles’ + ‘P.M.’ Album Out Soon

Jarryd James has released a new live video of his current single Miracles, stripping the track back to just a vocal and a guitar.  The acoustic video premiered on pilerats.com and sees Jarryd performing the song in its rawest form, drawing attention to Jarryd’s incomparable R&B infused vocals.

Jarryd says of the acoustic rendition, “ I was at my friend place doing 2 weeks out of Sydney before I could enter QLD again after being down there producing, and so I thought I’d use my time to make some different versions of a few songs from the album. I lost my lower register after the two weeks but thankfully my falsetto was still intact so I just sung the whole thing way higher than the original.”

Miracles will feature on Jarryd’s long awaited second album ‘P.M.’ (out January 22nd) which took shape over 18 months in studios in Los Angeles, Nicaragua, Brisbane, Auckland and New York.  The original video was instantly added to RAGE & MTV, with the single played across BBC Radio 1 and added to Spotify’s New Music Friday in 9 countries, New Music Daily in 7 countries and New in Alternative in 85 countries.

To date, he’s had more than 480-million streams, an ARIA top 5 album and two platinum-selling singles, with his break out single Do You Remember just announced as the 4th most Shazamed song in Australia for the past decade.

‘P.M.’ was written at nighttime when Jarryd could eliminate all distractions and let music consume him completely. To help articulate the sounds that were keeping him awake at night, Jarryd handpicked A-list producers including Clams Casino (A$AP Rocky, Vince Staples), Malay Ho (Frank Ocean, John Legend, Alicia KeysFrancisGotHeat (Drake, Travis Scott) and Joel Little (Khalid, Lorde). It’s been five years almost to the day that Jarryd James’ life was transformed by his monster track Do You Remember, but this humble, unassuming soul from Brisbane hasn’t let that change his process.
