Joining hosts Jane Gazzo and Bridget Hustwaite (triple j Good Nights) next week is guest co-host Stan Grant. Currently the ABC’s International Affairs Analyst, Grant is one of our nation’s most respected and awarded journalists. He also appears on Midnight Oil’s latest release. Grant catches up with Peter Garrett and Rob Hirst to tell viewers all about it.

It’s been almost 20 years since Midnight Oil unveiled a new longform release. With mini-album ‘The Makarrata Project’ out Oct 30 and timely in ways nobody could have anticipated, we are thrilled to have the band performing their single First Nation along with two very special guests, who also appear on the album version of the song – one of Australia’s most successful female artists, Jessica Mauboy, and NSW Mid North Coast talent Tasman Keith.

ARIA Song of the Year nominees and five-piece The Rubens recently announced they’ll release fourth album 0202 on 12 Feb, 2021. Watch them perform new single Time Of My Life on the rooftop of Sydney’s International Convention Centre (ICC Sydney)

RUEL’s 2018 debut READY introduced the world to the then 15-year-old’s songwriting talent. The ARIA winner – who has amassed 300m+ streams globally – will perform new single As Long As You Care lifted from new EP ‘Bright Lights, Red Eyes’.

Vera Blue (also known to her mum and dad as Celia Pavey) is hard at work on her upcoming second album. She recently made her eagerly anticipated solo return with striking new break-up inspired single, Lie To Me.

Teaming up with Midnight’s Oil to perform on their new song Terror Australia’ is Melbourne-based singer Alice Skye. The Wergaia and Wemba Wemba songwriter’s second album is set to be produced by Jen Cloher, and released via Brigg’s Bad Apples Music label.

Her debut single Work For Me blew up triple j’s textline back in September, and she calls Elton John a fan, with the superstar including the song in his recent Apple Music radio show. Meet rising Melbourne singer Mia Wray.
