Join Pete Murray for a unique chorus of local food, drink and music to nourish your social soul.
In a year that’s rendered social gatherings impossible, Queenslanders have been starved of social connection, fine food and live music, but thankfully 2020 will end with the launch of a brand new fine food and live music experience, ‘The Social Sessions’.
Across two nights and two South-East Queensland locations, the first in the Social Sessions series will treat music lovers to a unique chorus of local food, drink and music to nourish the soul with special guest and Aussie music icon Pete Murray.
Kicking off in Brisbane on Friday, December 11 at Hamilton Hotel and continuing on Saturday December 12 at the Lonestar Tavern on the Gold Coast, attendees will be greeted by a Gin Media Wall on arrival, a chef-created four course meal, cheese platters and premium beer and wine throughout. The menu, created by renowned Queensland chef Gary Johnson includes a choice of locally-inspired selections including vegetarian and vegan options.
The culinary delights will be set to an intimate performance of Pete Murray’s smorgasbord of hits, classic and new.
“I’m very excited to be getting back on stage for the Social Sessions! It’s been a tough year for everyone, but 2020 gives us the opportunity to present up close and personal versions of my songs alongside an amazing menu to end the year,” said Murray.
One of Queensland’s finest musical exports, Pete Murray burst onto the scene with his six times platinum smash ‘Feeler’, following it up with three further gold and platinum records. Nominated for seventeen ARIA Awards and achieving success across the globe, especially in Europe, Murray’s legions of fans continue to eagerly await each new record from his Byron Bay studio where he continues to create modern classics.
The Social Sessions will bring some of Australia’s finest talent to Queensland audiences in 2020, in a rare intimate setting not to be missed. Tickets to the Social Sessions are limited due to the COVID-safe restrictions, so be sure not to miss out.
