After releasing their widely lauded second EP ‘But No Thanks’, Sydney-based punk rock quartet FANGZ have just announced the launch of their signature hot sauce ‘Fang Us Some Sauce’ – set to be held at The Factory Theatre, Marrickville on Sunday November 15 as part of Destination NSW and ARIA’s ‘Great Southern Nights’ series.

In collaboration with boutique hot sauce gurus Papa Peachy, ‘Fang Us Some Sauce’ is the quintessential concoction one would expect to be captured in a bottle created by the evil geniuses of Sydney’s favourite party punks. Since their inception, the band have become notorious for their disregard of the conventional and having a whole lot of fun at the same time.

Guitarist Sam Sheumack describes the motivation behind ‘Fang Us Some Sauce’:

“Some people have dumb lifelong dreams like climbing Mount Everest, or winning lotto. Mine was always to bring out a signature hot sauce. So, when our good friend, Doug, from Papa Peachy hot sauce hit us up asking if we’d like to do a hot sauce collaboration we replied ‘do bears shit in the woods?’ ‘FANG US SOME SAUCE’ is a vegan fusion of eastern and western ingredients, using the world’s hottest chilli, the Carolina reaper, cayenne, garlic, onion and a secret mix of Indian spices to create a beautifully balanced, tangy accompaniment to your morning Bloody Mary, poached eggs, steak, or substitute this for your morning espresso for a unique start to the day. Heat wise, it’s an 8/10 spicy boiz. Enjoy loud and preferably with a beer poured over yourself.”

Also joining the band on the night will be support from local crowd favourites Grenade Jumper and A Swift Farewell.

In the live arena, the group have sold out multiple headline shows and supported the likes of Comeback Kid (CAN), Cancer Bats (CAN), GyroscopeTotally Unicorn and Bare Bones.

Their previously released material has been strongly supported by SpotifyApple Musictriple jtriple j UnearthedThe FactionFBiSYN FM4ZZZAmazing Radio (UK), PileratsBlunt MagazineHysteria MagazineMusic FeedsWall of SoundAAA Backstage and The Music.
