Denzel Curry returns with new music. Live From the Abyss is an unforgiving track, a declaration of intent that finds the rapper surveying the oppressive political climate of the United States in 2020.
The song is out now on Bandcamp, in conjunction with the platform waiving their share of revenue for the day, allowing 100% of sales to go to independent artists and labels. Net proceeds from Live From The Abyss digital single sales on Bandcamp, through the end of October, will be donated by Curry to Dream Defenders.
Live From The Abyss is Denzel Curry’s first release since February’s collaborative album with producer Kenny Beats, ‘UNLOCKED.’ Stay tuned for more from Denzel Curry soon.
New music kicks off a new decade for Denzel Curry, which will see him continue to build off a breakout 2019 in which he toured Australia twice and delivered a seismic rendition of Rage Against The Machine’s Bulls On Parade – which placed 5 in triple j’s Hottest 100, snatching the record for highest charting Like A Version in history. In the past two years, Denzel has released 2 x critically acclaimed albums (TA13OO and ZUU) alongside hard-hitting collaborations with the likes of slowthai (Psycho), Flying Lotus (Black Balloons Reprise) and Rick Ross (Running the Streets).
