Inhibitor are an up-and-coming Australian deathcore band who deliver punishing riffs, massive breakdowns and a potent, politically charged and purposeful songwriting sensibility. Their sound pulls from the influence of acts such as Whitechapel, Fit For An Autopsy, Cannibal Corpse and Aversions Crown. Their refined execution and thoughtful songwriting has rapidly garnered the attention of their local scene with their tracks, ‘Loathing’ and ‘Death, both landing the respective #1 and #2 positions on triple j’s Unearthed metal chart, with heavy rotation on The Racket with Lochlan Watt. With over 50,000 streams across their social media platforms, Inhibitor are ready to usher in a new age of brutality with their slamming aggression and energy.
The EP unravels the challenges that the five-piece faced in 2020, with obstacles thrown in their way the band was still able to craft an unrelentingly heavy release with deeply human and socially- conscious lyrics. Inhibitor are full of fury and fire, ready to carve their permanent markings deep into the scriptures of deathcore and beyond.
