FOR THE WOLVES Set To Release New Single ‘The Devil You Know’

Brisbane based Hard Rock outfit For The Wolves are set to release their brand new single The Devil You Know on June 19th – followed up by a slick video for the track. The song is a punchy and sonically unique hard rock composition, and in their opinion, the “best thing they have done so far”. The song is produced by Luke Palmer (Dead Letter Circus) and mixed by renowned mixing engineer Forester Savell (Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus). The song will be available for download and streaming on all major platforms June 19th.

For The Wolves are a 4 piece collective of musicians and creatives who make energetic hard rock, laced with psychedelia and ambience. The Devil You Know is an unique assembly of the band’s signature sound with catchy guitar riffs, powerful drum rhythms and progressive soundscapes. Produced by some of the biggest names in the Australian rock genre. The song is the band’s first release – not self produced. As a result, the sound of the band has evolved to create something For The Wolves are excited to unleash upon the world. After receiving significant local radio play on the back of their previous releases, along with some killer support shows and festival slots, the band hit the studio in late 2019 to record the next step in their sonic evolution.

the four-piece immediately command the stage with their incredibly engaging and hard-hitting melodic rock sound” – Samantha Wolstenholme, Insert Review Here

For The Wolves are a band that loves the use of their effects which they lavishly use to add to the wall of sound they produce” – Rashid AlKamraikhi, Good Call Live

After a few years playing on the local scene and sharing the bill with Australian rock heavyweights like Dead Letter Circus and Cog, For The Wolves have developed their craft and produced some powerful new material for release in 2020. The band will be hard at work in the coming months with subsequent releases lined up for the remainder of the year, and plenty of shows on the horizon, pending the restrictions being eased for live music. For now, For The Wolves have plenty to work on, as they craft their musical journey.
