PREMIERE: Take A Roadtrip With Sarah Goodwin’s New Music Video For ‘Waste My Time’

Good Call Live + Footstomp Music + Sarah Goodwin proudly present the PREMIERE of Sarah’s new music video for Waste My Time

Brisbane based pop princess Sarah Goodwin, released her single Waste My Time a few weeks ago and now she’s back to release the music video! Put on some headphones, get out the map and press play on this roadtrip fantasy.

Drawing on memories of past relationships the new single is from her Debut EP titled ‘If I Revealed.’ Sarah Goodwin became the semi-finalist twice for the ‘Unsigned Only’ Songwriting competition on Triple J Unearthed in 2018 & 2019. Sarah is determined to empower and bring joy to Australia.

From a first crush in her school years, a whole story evolves around wasting time on thinking about old relationships Sarah had. “The inspiration came from a ‘puppy love crush’ I had on my teacher when I was in year 9. All the girls in high school thought he looked exactly like a Colin Firth/Mr Darcy look alike. As grown adult a few years out of high school, I thought it would be fun to step in to the shoes of a 14-year-old again to think about all the times my friends and I ‘wasted our time’ by spending more time trying to think of ways to grab the teachers attention rather than just study.”

Produced by Aria Nominated Stuart Stuart (Sheppard, The Veronicas and Dean Lewis) at Analog Heart Studios in Brisbane, Sarah had always admired Stuart‘s work. Originally written to be an stripped back acoustic song, Waste My Time transformed into an elaborate Pop Ballad that really packs a punch. “I loved every second of it. Some moments were quite challenging as I had a producer who pushed me to be the best writer I could be.”
