Brisbane’s 8 piece powerhouse funk train The Steele Syndicate are rounding out this year with a series of local shows in preparation for their epic 2020 plans.
This year has been a year of growth for the band, focussing on writing and content, slowly releasing a number of clips and singles but with only a limited few local home shows to keep their fans on the edge of their seats. Finally due to demand, The Steele Syndicate have announced a Brisbane show to appease their local fans set for Friday October 18th at The Woolly Mammoth supported by West End’s Captain Dreamboat + guests.
September saw the band film and release a new clip NYNEY shot in a one take fashion in their Brisbane rehearsal studio. The clip swings from each member of the band with live audio and all in the one take as they naturally perform their latest track. In true TSS fashion, the band ooze a depth of musical finesse that many can only dream of, it comes naturally and is so clearly evident within their new live recording. Filmed by Wild Honey Productions (BNE)
The Steele Syndicates run of shows for this year will see an upbeat set of original funk that dabbles into indi rock, ska and some just a touch of reggae. Groove and style, blended energised guitar riffs, a 4 piece horn section and strong vocal harmonies lead by front man Steele McMahon. The Steele Syndicate will also perform Byron Bay, Yamba, Bellingen’s Beer & Cider Festival and headline The Gold Coast’s Moonlight Night to over 10,000 attending audience throughout November. The band will continue to perform throughout Summer and have started mapping out their 2020 with a series of headline east coast tours, festivals and big name supports.
