Gold Coast indie rock quartet, Super Nudist, opt for a brooding, power-rock song for their latest single, The Way She Makes Me Feel.
The latest iteration of the band has been together just 12 months and have gigged extensively on the Gold Coast slowly growing their fan base, with the occasional gig in Brisbane.
The Way She Makes Me Feel is a number that frequents the bands set list and keeps the audience engaged with the music.
“It’s a great song to break the set-up, people don’t expect it, especially when the chorus hits.” Says Brendan, lead singer, about the song.
The song is moderate tempo and could be deemed as an unusual release for a single.
“I feel like I’ve been hibernating for 3 months, since winter started. We have had the drums tracked for a while but I seem to lose my mojo in the winter months. Releasing a slower song is like I’m awakening from my slumber ready for the summer months.” Says Brendan.
The song was produced by Brendan Bostock. It was mixed and mastered by Brendan’s brother, Rob Bostock.
To celebrate the launch of the single, Super Nudist will be playing a headline show at the Gold Coast’s latest live music venue, The Rompa Room, on the 30th of August. Support bands are From the Well, Commonside, and Dawn of Dusk.
