The SCHEMA Festival is back!
Brought to you by SCHEMA Collective and building on the success of last year’s Festival, this year’s edition will see the multi-genre musical event take place over two days in three venues across Fortitude Valley. With a focus on diversity the best of Brisbane’s bands, artists, and performers will be featured along with a few special guests from further afield!
The first day of the Festival will be held on Saturday the 16th of November at The Valley Drive In and The Brightside. This will be an 18+ only event which will play host to 20 amazing acts spread over the two venues stages, culminating in an epic headline act that will be announced in due time.
For the SCHEMA Festival’s second day on Sunday the 17th of November they have partnered with Kids Helpline to create a self contained Under 18 event with its own exciting headliner to be held at The Zoo. This will take place in the afternoon between 1pm and 5pm before transitioning into an 18+ event for the evening with another yet to be announced headliner taking the stage to end the night and bring the Festival to a close.
SCHEMA is excited to share the first of its Headliners, Melbourne’s Windwaker. Windwaker have been killing it on the Australian music scene over the last few years having supported some huge bands such as Slaves, In Hearts Wake, Make Them Suffer, and Beartooth, as well as selling out shows in their own right all over the country. They are fast becoming one of Australia’s premier acts and one not to be missed.
The good news is you will have two opportunities to catch them at SCHEMA Festival 2019. Not only will they be Sub-headliners on Saturday night at The Valley Drive In, they will be headlining the Under 18 component of the Festival on Sunday afternoon at The Zoo, giving younger fans the opportunity to experience their huge sound and energetic live performance for the first time in Brisbane!
Acts in the first line up announcement for SCHEMA Festival 2019 include:
The Black Catapult
Wise Man Say
Tickets will be on sale soon with Two Day passes for the entire Festival for $70, One Day Passes for Saturday for $50 and Sunday for $40. Tickets for the Under 18 component at The Zoo will be $20. All prices are excluding Booking fees.
