JULIA MICHAELS Announces Special Guest Rhys Lewis (UK) For All Shows On Her September Debut Australian Headline Tour | Brisbane Sold Out!

Frontier Touring is beyond thrilled to announce that British singer-songwriter Rhys Lewis will be joining US pop sensation Julia Michaels at all shows on her upcoming debut Australian headline tour. The shows are only a month away, and with Brisbane already sold-out, Sydney and Melbourne tickets are not expected to last long.

Rhys Lewis has been steadily building a devoted global fan base with tracks like Hold On To Happiness and Better Than Today from his debut EP ‘In Between Minds’, not to mention new single What If. Originally from Oxford, the 27 year-old’s simple arrangements, poignant lyrics and breathtaking vocals have made him one of the brightest rising stars in today’s music scene with over 125 million streams to his name.

He’s toured extensively with artists like Sigrid, Freya Ridings, JP Cooper and James TW, played numerous special BBC Introducing shows, represented the UK at SXSW, and sold out headline shows from London and Amsterdam to New York and Berlin. Soon, he’ll be able to add shows with Julia Michaels to that impressive list!

Pop knockout and Grammy nominee Julia Michaels has a stack of illustrious tours under her belt with superstars Maroon 5, P!NK, Niall Horan, Shawn Mendes, Australia’s own Keith Urban, and more. Add to that her own massive headline shows, and it’s no wonder that Michaels has accrued more than two billion streams globally.

Released in January, was Michaels EP ‘Inner Monologue Part I’ that featured the smash hit single Anxiety. Her debut single and breakout hit Issues is already five times ARIA Platinum (and scored her a Grammy nomination for Song Of The Year!), with Heaven certified ARIA Platinum, and Jump (feat. Trippie Redd) and Uh Huh both certified ARIA Gold. To top it all off, she rounded out the 2018 Grammys with a nomination for Best New Artist.  Recently released ‘Inner Monologue Part 2’ (Universal Music Australia) features current hit Hurt Again.

Beyond her personal success, Michaels has proved to be a prolific songwriter. She’s co-written tracks with Selena Gomez (Bad Liar), Justin Bieber (Sorry), Ed Sheeran (Dive), Linkin Park (Heavy), Gwen Stefani (Used To Love You), Fifth Harmony (Miss Movin’ On), Britney Spears (Slumber Party (feat. Tinashe)), Kelly Clarkson (War Paint), Nick Jonas (Close (feat. Tove Lo)), Shawn Mendes (Nervous) and Demi Lovato (Fire Starter). Michaels also features on Lauv’s There’s No Way, 5 Seconds of Summer’s Lie To Me, Clean Bandit’s I Miss You, Keith Urban’s Coming Home, and alongside Noah Kahan on Hurt Somebody.

There’s no doubt about it – Julia Michaels is a pop prodigy. Don’t miss what will likely be your last chance to see an artist of such calibre in such intimate venues, with special guest Rhys Lewis. Brisbane has already sold out – don’t miss your chance in Sydney and Melbourne.

With special guest Rhys Lewis
