TINY CASTLE Return With Heartfelt Sad Banger ‘Composure’

A blast from the past, but an explosion into the future, Tiny Castle’s latest heartfelt release Composure is a welcome return for the Brisbane rockers.

Certainly a change of pace since their energetic last single World, Composure opts for a more downtempo, romantic, and reflective tone. Driven by the four-piece’s signature synth streams, and glittering guitar finishes, the divergent track builds effortlessly from a sincere ballad into a roaring guitar finish.

Sharp yet delicate, Composure marks a new chapter for Tiny Castle, both in instrumentation and lyrically.  Recognising the wrongs in their life and searching for a solution to make it out of the tough times, drummer Chris Trupp explains, “’Composure’ isn’t a soundtrack for the down and out, but maybe a helping hand along the way.”

With just a handful of releases, the band have been making waves in the local scene, supporting some of Queensland’s best: Young LionsFragile Animals and Something Something Explosion, and performing at tastemaker events such as the 2019 Mountain Goat Valley CrawlWorld received spins on triple j Unearthed, a Highly Commended at the 2019 Queensland Music Awards, not to mention featuring on Spotify’s ‘All New Rock’ and ‘Fresh FindsSix Strings’ playlists, scoring over 60,000 streams on the platform.

With lots more to come throughout the year, jump into the diverse sounds of Tiny Castle.
