Akin to the image of electricity arcing within the Australian music scene; Black Mountain Music are excited to announce that Byron Bay Area thrashers From Crisis To Collapse have joined the labels’ roster for major distribution across Australia and New Zealand via their partners in Metropolitan Groove Merchants (MGM).
As a foundational band to the newly established heavy music record label, both From Crisis To Collapse and label mates Superheist set a very solid backbone as to the intent of Black Mountain Music and the footprint in which the label aims to stamp.
“We’re really excited that Crisis have joined the BMM family and it was a fairly natural progression with having Chad from the band heavily involved with the set-up of this label.”
“Listening to their music and watching them go about their business in a live environment is very impressive, which is indicative of their uprising over the past year and a half. The band are already writing new music to follow on from their thunderous debut ‘The Seventh Tree’. So I’m confident that their talents combined with our premium level of label support will forge From Crisis To Collapse as a common presence in households across this country.” – dw Norton; Black Mountain Music General Manager.
After releasing their debut EP ‘The Seventh Tree’ back in February via US record label Art Is War Records and enforcing it’s release by brutalising stages across Australia with Alaska’s 36 Crazyfists and Superheist as part of the inaugural HeistFest tour in April, From Crisis To Collapse continue to build momentum at wrecking ball speed and draw the respect from a broad cross section of heavy metal music enthusiasts on a global scale.
“Joining the Black Mountain Music roster and working alongside dw on that level is a great opportunity for Crisis and will help make our art more accessible to our Australian and New Zealand supporters. The response to ‘The Seventh Tree’ has been absolutely mind blowing for us this year and has inspired some crazy song writing that we hope to release in the early stages of next year.”
“It’s a great feeling to know that our Black Mountain Music family will be taking care of our local audiences as we also continue to release music across North America, the UK and Europe through Art Is War Records based in the US.” – Angus Carter; From Crisis To Collapse.
‘The Seventh Tree’ is OUT NOW via Black Mountain Music and is available to view or purchase on all digital download and streaming platforms here.
Physical copies of ‘The Seventh Tree’ are available now from the From Crisis To Collapse webstore, MGM webstore, Black Mountain Music webstore, and also available to order from all leading music retailers across Australia.
