“Nothing gives me more joy than playing live. I’ve been in the studio writing for the last few months, and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on! I’ll be playing songs from ‘measurements’ and ‘Tea Stains’, and maybe a few surprises.” – Didirri
One summer night a year and a half ago, two Melbourne artists found themselves unexpectedly co-writing a song. With just a pedestal fan, a beat-up bass, and some empty cups of tea, Didirri and Ro wrote Tea Stains.
Reminiscent of drive-in movies, longing gazes across the room, chipped fine china, silk dresses at sunset, and heartfelt duets as the train leaves the station, Tea Stains (out now) has a tasteful understated romance that mysteriously reels you in.
With over 600,000 collective streams, Tea Stains has been played extensively across triple j, double j, triple j unearthed, and community radio stations across Australia, was added to RAGE and MTV, and has been praised with comments such as “they’ve crafted an enveloping, folksy sing-along that draws you in from the first strum and dual-voiced lyric” (Al Newstead, triple j), “is so intoxicating, so honest and beautifully bittersweet” (Wolf In A Suit) and “a smooth blend of timbres akin to a good cup of Earl Gray” (RUSSH Magazine).
Now is your chance to hear both lyrically prolific songwriters share their quirky and romantic collaboration live across Australia as Didirri announces an August headline tour, with special guest Ro in support.

Didirri is also excited to announce he has partnered with FEAT. (Future Energy Artists) initiative for the Tea Stains Tour. FEAT. is a platform for artists to invest in renewable energy, via a managed investment fund, which uses that investment to fund solar farms or loans it to build infrastructure for renewable energy. It’s a “world-first initiative for artists to take ownership over accelerating our clean energy future at a critical time in human history”.
“We’re so honoured to have an artist with such environmental integrity like Didirri come on board. He really walks the walk – not only was he our first artist sign up on the day we launched, but he moved fast enough for us to partner with his tour announce just a week later so we’re thrilled to have him as our first FEAT. touring partner.” – FEAT.
