Adelaide power duo Filthy Lucre are back with a definite harder edge with their new single Prescription dropping last week.
With their first release since 2016, the new single hints at a new heavier direction for the band, previously known for their Blues to Rock crossover material. Prescription possesses a modern darker vibe for lovers of bands such as Royal Blood and King of the North, which when coupled with Filthy Lucre’s convincing on-stage energy, will see venues across the country come alive this April.
In the band’s first road jaunt for over a year, the Adelaide riff-makers intend to reaffirm their position in the national and in-turn international hard rock scene over the next twelve months, with a solid commitment to a busy upcoming tour and release schedule.
