When I was younger all I wanted to do was travel and play music. I didn’t care if it was it was to hundreds of people at my favourite pub, or my new songs first preview to my mum, as long as I was playing music. The memory is so vivid to me, sitting behind my desktop computer and smashing through my Engineering work as fast as possible so I could sneak a few minutes into gig organisation. The hardest part of it all, was knowing which venues supported live music. Now, 10 years later I still hear the same conversations with the same question, ‘Which venues play live music?’
With this question I introduce to you, www.prysim.com
Prysim is Australia’s most interactive and fastest growing database of live music venues. Pre-register to gain access to our map of venues. We are asking the musical community to pull together and suggest venues to add to our ever growing list. The most exciting thing is that this is just phase one. Phase two will see the introduction of artists and venue profiles allowing artists the opportunity to find and apply for gigs all in the one place.
To celebrate the launch of pre-registration we are doing a series of Live@PrysimHQ gigs. During these gigs we film the artists playing 4 songs with HD film and high quality audio. To add to the excitement of these we also do a live Facebook stream. We have had a fantastic response with Monday nights live stream being watched by 111 people live and over 720 views in 24 hours. If you are interested in playing a Live@PrysimHQ gig flick through an email to firstname.lastname@example.org (don’t forget to include links to your sites/music).
We are excited to see the Australian music industry and local artists grow. We can be found at the following:
