Melbourne band Dada Ono is touring this April to celebrate the release of their debut album ‘Granny Loves Smith’.
This tour takes them for the first time up and down the East-Coast of Australia to showcase their unique brand of post-punk, Avant pop and electric art rock for cities outside their home town and they are excited to be hitting the stage at the iconic Currumbin Pub with some of the Gold Coast’s great up and coming talent.
Dada Ono are a four piece outfit led by front woman Nik Ranger on electric violin, who first conceived the project whilst teaching music in Siem Reap, Cambodia and since returning to Australia she has been joined by drummer Broghan O’Loughlin, bassist Tom Hainsworth and guitarist Jason Whatt and they have been a regular staple on Melbourne’s stages since.
‘Granny Loves Smith’ was released on the 10th March and is available from bandcamp on high quality digital download and CD.
Dada Ono plays the Currumbin Pub on 28th April with Aralunar Beagle, Wootton Major and Dreams of Indigo. https://www.facebook.com/events/620788528119553/
