Amy Shark wins Song of the Year at QLD music awards

Gold Coast musician Amy Shark has taken out the Song of the Year Award for her song ‘Adore’ at this year’s Queensland music awards, held at The Brisbane Powerhouse last night. It probably wasn’t a huge surprise to most people after the song also took out the number 2 spot in the recent Triple J hottest 100 countdown.

The Gold Coaster has also just released her latest single ‘Weekends’ ahead of her upcoming SOLD OUT national tour. As part of the tour she will be playing at Elsewhere bar in Surfers Paradise on Friday 31st of March, tickets to this event are sold out however there will be a limited number of tickets for sale on the door from 8pm. Gold Coasters will also get a chance to see her play for FREE at the upcoming Gold Coast Music Awards event held at the Surfers Paradise Beach on April 27. Other Artist performing at the event includes the Hanlon Brothers, Aquila Young and Yes Sir Noceur.
